I will overwhelm 'legitimate combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's bout.
Former two time unified title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
